Using different tags (ie traditional/acoustic/satellite) information on a shark's age, growth, movements and habitat use can be detected! This technique is very important for management and conservation, as well as being able to watch your SHARKY friend's worldwide adventures from your laptop!

DID YOU KNOW...that sharks concentrate urea in their blood rather than excreting it?! This is an adaptation for water retention when living in a salty environment.
