The Epi(c)phannys (pronounced epic fannys or epiphanies with a silent c) came together when VJ Debbie Does (guitar/vocals) and Adele AKA The Reach (bass) hooked up in Darwin to make some blues rock punk grunge sounds. The sounds soon became songs about women, racism and life in the Territory. In 2016, they were joined by the lovely Danielle backing up the vocals, and have been rockin’ Darwin ever since. The Epi(c)phannys are inspired by Patti Smith, Ruthie Foster and cool chicks making music.
